UBoC research at the International SEEDS Conference 2016

Beckett_logo Last week, UBoC’s Cat Scott and Tom Bliss presented their research at the International SEEDS (Sustainable Ecological Engineering Design for Society) Conference in Leeds.

Held at Leeds Beckett University, the SEEDS conference brought together research from across a wide range of sustainable engineering topics.

Keynote speakers covered topics including green cities, low carbon innovation in building retrofits, and the role of big data in dementia care.

Cat Scott (below) was Highly Commended in the Contribution to the Natural Environment category for her work, with the rest of the UBoC team, on the benefits of green spaces in urban areas.
