United Bank of Carbon (UBoC) is a UK registered charity which protects and restores forests and other greenery using sound science and by supporting environmentally and socially-responsible partnerships between businesses and local communities.
The ‘Bank’ represents everywhere we can safely store carbon; trees, plants, peat, soils, biodiversity and, increasingly, man-made sinks – and we do also hold, literally, a ‘bank’ of carbon credits, that we can retire on behalf of suitable supporters.
We can undertake research for you, help you to support forest projects and so gain CSR/PR benefits, and also help you to first reduce and then compensate for your unavoidable carbon emissions
When you support a project or offset carbon emissions though us, 100% of your donation goes to the forest project, and we often encourage you to give directly to the scheme. We can afford to do this as our running costs and research are supported by separate donations and lots of good will! Please get in touch if you would like to donate to either a project or our research.
