For the first two years of the agreement funds were used for a project working through Wildlife Trust of India, towards securing the permanent protection of the Rewak-Emangri elephant corridor. Since 2012 funds donated by DDB are being directed to WLT’s Buy an Acre project in Guatemala working with local conservation partners FUNDAECO (Fundación Para el Ecodesaadam&eveDDB_photo_profilerrollo y la Conservacion). The project area focuses on the permanent protection of the wildlife reserve, Laguna Grande-Sarstun Reserve which is protecting riverine habitats along the border with Belize and helping consolidate Guatemala’s bi-national conservation efforts with Belize.

“As a key part of a global company, we work hard to make our team feel that they are part of a worldwide community. By supporting the Rewak-Emangri elephant corridor in India, we are able to unite behind a common goal and feel that by working together we are also helping to keep another community together.”
